BHRT is an acronym for Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy. As time goes by, in your 30s, 40s, and 50s and beyond, our naturally produced sex hormones undergo changes in levels and function. Many persons, both men & women, desire to optimize and "rebalance" their hormones (such as Testosterone, Estradiol, and Progesterone) with so-called bioidentical hormones which are in fact identical substances to those produced by our bodies (albeit they are derived from plant sources).

Glosshouz Nurse Practitioner will assess your hormone levels after you have completed the Wellness Labs for BHRT (blood draw and biomarkers info obtained), and then she'll talk to you about treatment options, whether this be with injections, creams, patches, or skin pellets.

What's involved in receiving BHRT (Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy) Pellet Treatment?
The BHRT Pellet Treatment procedure involves placement of tiny grain-of-rice-size extended-release BHRT compounded hormones which last 3 - 4 months depending on each person. To perform the procedure our Nurse Practitioner will numb the area and use a tube-like apparatus to slide the pellets just under the dermis. Then a Steri-Strip bandaid is applied over the tiny hole that was made.
With Glosshouz BHRT pellet therapy application, we use modern and leading edge tools and products so that the procedure is not traumatic to the skin tissue and the pellets dissolve smoothly away over time.
